Honey Bees On Cocaine Dance More, Changing Ideas About The Insect Brain

I think the real question that should be asked is why the hell there are scientists in the world giving bees cocaine. I struggle to see the scientific merit of getting bees high. I think what's more likely is that a bunch of uni students were at a party one night and were saying to each other "Hey, you know what would be really funny? If we could convince our uni that we needed them to get cocaine for us because we wanted to make bees get high!"

ScienceDaily (2008-12-25) -- In a study that challenges current ideas about the insect brain, researchers have found that honey bees on cocaine tend to exaggerate.
